Ayurvedic face massage/ Mukhabhyanga This is a gentle ayurvedic treatment performed on the face, head and neck with herbal oils. Pressure applied on energy points or meridians stimulate energy flow throughout the body while relaxing the nervous system. It also helps to improve blood circulation in the face which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The tone and texture of the skin is improved too, giving the skin a healthy, youthful glow. The entire system of Ayurvedic healing relates to three body types- Vata, Pitta and Kapha. After asking you some questions to understand your body temperaments (this is optional) - what your energy levels are like, if you have dry/oily skin, how is your digestion- the suitable oil is chosen with which your face will be massaged. For best results, it is recommended to receive this treatment once a week. Please be aware that there might be a little oil remaining in your hair after the treatment.
