My plan to cut my long ponytail in order to donate it to an NGO and then get a cut on the already short hair, so I booked a short hair cut. However, I was told when I arrived that I had to pay long hair cut (10€ more expensive) because I got through their door with long hair and a long hair cut is "much more work". I tried to explain my plan (that cutting the tail needs a fews seconds) and they kindly told me to either sit down and accept it or go. Since I had quite little time and not much flexibility I just accepted but thought was nonsense. The cut was quite well done, I am happy with it, and the staff was friendly after all but the whole initial situation made it all a bit awkward and ended up paying 42€ instead of 32€ although it literally took 20 seconds to cut the tail and all the work was done on the short hair...
