Had an underarm wax and was the worst ive gotten. This is an area of my body in which i have little pain, but in this session I had pain. The issue was that the beautician was unexperienced and quite nervous. The wax was too hot and she didnt have patience to wait a couple of minutes to let it dry a bit so the hair could be removed easily. Also, she kept "drying" (rubbing) the skin with a tissue which is only made area more sensitive. She also clearly didnt know where to stand in relation to which side of my body she was waxing. Im sure she will gain more confidence as she gets more clients because she does have knowledge about skin.
As for the salon, its nice. Just needs more coziness to it. Also a bit more friendliness and privacy to the client from the rest of the staff. Another woman was there throughout my treatment observing how the wax was being done. Again, it all screamed to inexperience to me.
