I showed Sarah a photo of the haircut I wanted, which was one I’ve gotten at this salon from other stylists before and loved. She insisted it wouldn’t suit my hair, which she called “too thin” (every other stylist I have ever gone to has commented on the thickness of my hair) and refused to cut it as requested, doing her own style instead. My hair was curled so I couldn’t check the cut until I got home. I felt dismissed and was disappointed with the result.
