I had a Brazilian wax a couple of weeks ago. Although the cosmetician was extremely nice, it was a difficult wax because she didn't speak any English (so it was hard to take my mind off of the waxing - usually I would have a conversation with the cosmetician); and the wax was EXTREMELY hot. She was blowing air on the wax to make it easier on the skin, and I usually have a high pain tolerance, but I was extremely unhappy that the wax was so damn hot.
