I really liked the haircut I received, but it’s just a shame that the actual treatment was a bit rushed and impersonal. I was charged extra without having been told, nothing was explained to me, and I fear that something I pre-purchased wasn’t even applied in the end to my hair because the hairdresser wasn’t even aware I booked on Treatwell (although I mentioned it upon arrival). The attitude was very routine, although for someone who gets their hair cut once a year and spends 150 EUR like myself it’s a special occasion, and would therefore appreciate knowing more about the process and being asked things like “how do you usually part your hair” or “would you like a glass of water?” before simply jumping in. It’s too bad that I left feeling this way, since the cut and styling was very good. But I pay also for the experience, and that was missing for me. I don’t like surprise charges and not feeling confident about what I’m getting.
