Zu Beginn beider Behandlungen erwartet dich eine gründliche Reinigung der Augenpartie. Hierbei werden Fette und Öle entfernt, damit eine längere Haltbarkeit gewährleistet werden kann. Bei dem Lashlifting wird ein Silikonkissen direkt am Ansatz deines Wimpernkranzes angebracht, die Wimpern nach oben gekämmt und anschließend fixiert. Nachfolgend wird die Dauerwellenflüssigkeit aufgetragen, die mindestens 20 Minuten einwirken soll. Somit bekommen deine Wimpern ruckzuck den Schwung in deiner gewünschten Stärke. Durch das direkte Biegen am Ansatz wirken deine Eigenwimpern länger. Einziger Nachteil: Der Preis ist doppelt so hoch wie der einer Wimpernwelle. Wenn du dir eine Wimpernwelle buchst, wirst du mit der Röllchen-Methode konfrontiert. Klingt erst mal komisch, ist aber ganz simpel erklärt: Egal wie lang deine Wimpern auch sind, passend zu jeder Länge gibt es verschiedene Rollengrößen. Diese werden auf deine Oberlider aufgeklebt und anschließend deine Wimpern um die Rolle gewickelt. Was dann folgt, ist die sogenannte Dauerwellenflüssigkeit, die genauso wie beim Lifting aufgetragen wird und bis zu 20 Minuten einwirkt. Nachdem die Einwirkzeit verstrichen ist, wird das Gel abgetupft, bevor final das Fixiergel für weitere 10 Minuten einwirkt.
